Looking for leather golf bag, old cart bag or carry bag that can stand

HELP!

Okay, so this is a big broad thread...

I would like a leather bag. I have seen a lot of them around, but the old style leather bags to carry I'd not use. I wouldn't have the heart to lay one on the ground. Is there any way to get an old-style leather carry bag with a stand? At one time many years ago you could buy a carry frame to attach to a bag, but they didn't work well. Is there anyone who can help?

Second, if you get on ebay, you see lots of ads for leather cart bags. A lot of Ping bags are listed as leather bags, but are they really leather? How can you tell what staff bags are leather, and which ones are vinyl?

When on eBay and looking for a Leather golf bag... ask the seller this question:

[b]Are you absolutely positive this bag is made from LEATHER and not VINYL?

To be sure, please check on the insides of the pockets and the rain cover and see if the material used has a fabric/jute backing. If the material has a backing, the bag is made from vinyl and NOT leather... if the inside of the material feels/looks like suede, you do indeed have a leather bag.

In addition, leather smells like leather... Vinyl has no smell.

BTW, I've never seen a Ping, Callaway, TaylorMade, Titleist, etc., that is leather. The sellers don't know any better or they're [i]playing dumb[/i].
