i5's with CSL Stiff. fairly light compared with alot of other shafts but matches the head well because the head isn't all that heavy either. although if you swing it quick the CSL stiff's might turn it over a bit for you in the longer irons...I find i probably draw it a bit too much with 2, 3 and 4 irons. nice clubs though

I use the CS Lite stiff in all of them and hit a 7 160yds, The shaft works well with a smooth swing and suits my natural draw well.

nice feel and kick to the shaft ball flight is higher with 2 piece balls

but is perfect with HX Tours. The G5 long irons are sill forgiving might get the 3 iron or maybe even a rapture 3 iron.

I have a set of i5s and a set of s59s and both of them have the ping DGS shafts. (DG S400) Really solid shafts.

For me I own I3+ blades. I bought em used with cs lite reg flex shafts. I hit em long and high but tthe control wasn't there. The kickpoint too low and flex too soft for me.

 

A friend had some Jz-stiff pulls lying around. Put these in and they were perfect. The cushin insert dampens vibrations which is great for me as I play this as my early and late season set when it is cold and conditions are bad.

 

The JZ stiff shaft is perfect shaft as a tweener. I find dgs300 a bit stiff for me but have no trouble loading these.

S58's 2-PW. Right now they have Z-Z65 Stiff flex in them. So far I like them the way they are.

I play S59 WRX Tour's with DGSL S300. Had i3+ CSLite R before that.

 

Comparing the 2, I'd say the DGSL is a much better feeling shaft, tighter if you will. I know, flex difference plays a role, but the CS Lite was too woolly in feel.

 

 

Of course, I have no business playing that S59 so they must go (anyone (cool)?), but I'm pretty sure I want to stick with the DGSL, perhaps in R300 as that's probably better for my swingspeed.

Ping S58 with CS Lite Stiff Cushin shafts. Just got them yesterday, and hit some balls with them this afternoon. Gotta say that I LOVE 'EM!! Still own a set of I5's with ZZ-65 Cushin Stiff shafts and a set of I3+ with Graphite Regular shafts.

 

Overall, I must say that the S58 suits my game much better than the I5's. Much more penetrating and surprisingly straighter ball flight. These irons look, feel, and perform solid!! (cool)
