Has anyone else seen the Tiger Woods Replica bags on ebay? One claims to be the exact replica of Tigers bag, which of course, in true replica fashion, doesnt even resemble Tigers bag except for the colors. The price on the two is currently between $390 and $510. Would anyone here pay that much for this: Tiger Woods Bag on Ebay

I love that in the title, it states "exact replica" and in the description says new with tags. But, in the description, it also says the exact bag that tiger won five tourneys in a row with. Hmm?? which one is it...Maybe Tiger kept the tags on the bag in case he wanted to return it :cheesy:

To answer your questions, NO. Because you can buy the exact same thing through the Buick Web site for $250. However, I wouldn't buy that either.

 

I did however find myself a new business.. If I can mark up a golf bag $250 and sell it on ebay then I will buy up the remaning bags that Buick has and retire early. :cheesy:

In the past Tiger has given a back up or an actual bag of his signed to GM to put up for raffle for the GM summer interns. Since GM has reduced that program almost to zilch I don't know if he still does that anymore. He also one time gave a back up set of T irons. The kid that won them didn't even play golf---unclear what he finally did with them.

They had replica bags out when he was carrying the old red/white/black bags as well. They had Nike replica bags that you could get through Buick dealers, and also a true Belding Tour bag which was exactly what he carried when he captured all four majors.

 

I owned one of each and still use the Buick carry bag which also has his signature. Buick is getting a lot of press for their advertising dollars and these replica bags always go for obscene amounts on eBay. The Beldings used to go as high as $1500.

This post was complete sarcasm except for My 10k staff bag, there is no way I'll pay $390. or $500. for a cheap replica, I'd barely pay that for the real thing. I have better things to buy for $500 like more drivers for one!

That's the dopey cart bag not a staff bag. I got one of the previous Buick staff bags for my nephew two years ago that was signed by TW. Got it from a marketing executive at Buick. If you are or were the right level executive at GM you could occasionally get one.

People paying $50 for a Titleist Performance T-Shirt that you can get for $25 on there web site. There are people that just dont care what they pay. They just think they are getting a deal.
