Srixon Z-URS

compared to Pro V1 and Pro V1X

Anybody using Srixon?...I currently switch back and forth from V1 and X ...just curious about Srixon

the z-urs is a soft feeling ball that goes a LONG way but doesn't stop like the prov... if you like your pitches/chips to check a little this ball isn't for you

Z-UR is somewhat comparable with V1X

Z-URS is for V1

 

The cover doesn't scuff easily, a lot of roll off the drive but like ultra45 said, it doesn't check so well like V1 on the green.

 

For me, Z-UR is my choice. Almost the same quality, cheaper price.

I find that the Z-URS checks on the greens just fine. Granted it doesn't have as much action on the ball as the ProV1/x but it's in the ballpark. I'm waiting to hit the new Z-URC, the ball Furyk's been playing. Ordered a box from the rep, I should get it in the next week or so. Will keep y'all posted.

I agree with ultra45. I don't look for a lot of action on my short game shots, so this is the perfect ball for me. I did go to a full clubfitting the other day, and the club fitter said he has tested them all, and he liked the Z-URS, but it was not as consistant as the B330-s. He also said that the Platinum and TP Red were good as well.

I just played the B330-S and the Z-URS head-to-head this past weekend and found the Z-URS to be longer with a better trajectory off the driver and irons than the B330-s; while I think the B330-S had a bit more bite around the greens, it wasn't significantly more so than the Srixon. I also liked the feel of the Z-URS off the putter...not too soft and not too hard.

 

Off the tee the Z-URS is hard to beat. I cannot wait to try the Z-URC!!

I have been very impressed with the Z-URS. I find it to be slightly firmer feeling than the Pro-V’s with and spin a touch less. The length off the driver for me has been phenomenal, with the trade off being less spin with the short irons as other have posted. If the upcoming Z-URC has the length off the driver of the “S” with more spin on the short irons, I can’t imagine a better fit for my game. Until then however, I plan on sticking with the Z-URS. Fantastic ball in my opinion. :cheesy:

Played Z-URS most of the summer - liked it for me - comp for me would usually be the Pro V1; Z-URS might be a little firmer feel, but it is longer for me. And feels pretty good off the putter.

 

 

 

Have a box of B-330S and Z-URC waiting for action. Excited to try the Z-URC; have liked the B-330S for a while. I'm not a slave to one ball - but I generally gravitate towards similar feels (Pro V1; Z-URS, and B-330S) with no particular loyalty at any given time.

 

 

 

Regular Z-UR is too clicky for my taste with the putter. But I find it long. I prefer the straight B-330 to the Z-UR.

I have played a dozen ZUR-S and it is a good ball, slightly firmer and with less spin than B-330S. About the same firmness as HX.56, but less spin.

 

Driver distance HX.56 is longer than either B-330S ro ZUR-S, the the Bridgestone and Srixon about comparable.
