Agree.  Loved 1K Pro Orange in driver but it didn't quite launch high enough for fairway metal.  1K Pro Green would be absolutely perfect for 3 metal.

Did they ever make a green band tensei before?

 

I would think it will fill the gap between white/orange and blue or blue and red.

 

Been gaming TPO 1k 60TX until the tip broke and now in TR black 6x. Still think TPO 1K is an overall stiffer shaft so maybe Green is soften the mid a bit to make it feel like a TR black?

I don't think MCA's ever made a green band Tensei, but they did a custom one for J. Rose which was a gold band that he had in his bag for a minute.  Commentator suggested it was done as a tribute to his gold medal from the Olympics.  I think it was a CK Pro Orange if I remember right.

If its a slightly higher launching 1k orange that sounds fantastic to me. I pounded the 1K orange last year with driver but didn't quite get the launch to get the most carry in wetter conditions.

I would consider trying on looks alone.  I haven't tried a CB shaft since the HZRDS Yellow came out.

Off topic.. can anyone tell me quickly why id be launching the hulk shaft very very high and keep almost slicing to the right at no more then 210 yrds vs my other shafts in other driver heads going straight or fade 230 to 260 tottal? Swing speed 95 to 100. I thought the shaft was ment to launch and spin low.. its quite the opposite for me. In a special edition cobra radspeed masters driver. Thanks.

The shaft feel is changing how you deliver the club. I'm willing to bet the loading characteristics encourage you to to flip and steepen even more dramatically than the other setups you have

It is a probably 65 to 68 gram shaft when im use to stiff 50s.. this is sad because i really loved this driver and the shaft looked great but starting to think this shaft dont work maybe.

Your swing doesn't mesh with smoke green hulk therefore is fighting it causing you to compensate all sorts of ways leading to right on right with excess spin which equals short and errant drives.  Time to either find another shaft or game the ones that have been working.

If you search the Japanese sites you can find tensei green, not 1k. Looks like  made for shaft for the epic.

They have a post on IG that says it is “Green Limited” “Low Launch” “Low Spin” and was apparently made for Kiradech. Perhaps it is wishful thinking on my part, but I read it as it will be a limited release. I’m just hoping not limited to just Kiradech. Has anyone heard anything more about it?
