Well, I got some from proshopwarehouse for $108.00 and am very pleased with them. I've never played graphite shafted irons either and was skeptical about purchasing them,but for that price I thought "what the heck!" I got the stiff shaft as you did and had similar results. I had no range or practice time with them,just went out and played 18. I quickly adjusted after knocking a few balls around,these clubs will let you know if you mishit them for I got pretty good feedback,which does'nt happen with most game improvement irons. I believe with some actual range time these sticks will definately prove to be well worth the money (a steal)!! :clapping: I'm a believer now that Bridgestone is an under rated company when it comes to their clubs-try them you'll like them!! :good:

glad to hear, mine were from pro shop warehouse as well, and I am playing saturday .. i'll let you know,I am gettin sick of mats at the range..I hit a few off the grass the other day, and they just glided through like stink and had a sweet feel. I did notice a mishit will only fade a slight bit and lose ten yards, so what..if we hit em flush all the time, we would be paid to golf lol. I am really pleased with the way they come off the club face.I might deloft these about 2 degrees so they don't get too high on me, as they are very traditional lofts.

Yeah,these sticks will probably make us become better ball strikers. When I played with them last week(could not play today as it has rained all day, hopefully tomorrow) a good hit felt like butta!! I played the ball back slightly or choked down a little to control the trajectory when needed but I will get to test drive them more and that will give me a better perspective as to their playability. What little time I did spend with them they impressed me enough to believe we got a steal for the price we paid!!

Took mine out for the first time yesterday - earliest I've ever been able to hit the links here in MN. The Nippon NS950GH shafts are without a doubt the smoothest feeling I've ever hit. Was hard to assess distance and accuracy yesterday, as the wind was howling at 25-35 MPH, so that will have to wait for another day. But at first glance I'm very pleased.

Awesome irons. I can see why they made the hot list in 2007. Nice look at address, forgiving. Far more forgiving than I thought they were when I saw them. Great shafts, good feedback. 431 stainless so you can actually bend the loft pretty easily. What I really liked was the more traditional lofts (47* PW). Rather than make stronger lofts to increase distance. they have (essentially) the same lofts as my Zings from the early 1990s, so after a bit of work my distances were really easy to dial in.

 

I went online after I got back from the range to order my buddy a set and PSWH appears to be sold out. Really, these for $150 was a great deal.

 

The 950 shaft I got them with is a lightweight one and I found it to be very nice. When I demoed the MX25's from Mizuno I noticed that the stock shaft was the TT dynamic lite gold, another low weight shaft. I assume that this is because lighter shaft = more clubhead speed. Still I liked the feel of these bad boys.

These are great irons, I have had mine for over 2 years. First, they are about 1/2 inch longer than standard irons with the 1050gh shaft. Also agree the grips are midsize, and they aren't the best feeling grips (prob change but im cheap). Overall these irons give great distance, and above average accuracy. The sole is great in most all turf conditions, and the low offset is refreshing considering the high offset in most GI irons. They really set up like a big blade, really thin top line, the cavity is not visible on all but the 3 iron. Overall i have played some of my best golf with these irons, and think they are for sure a real sleeper iron. I haven't ever run into another player with them in the bag, and anyone that ive let hit them, just have nothing to say but WHOA! For people looking to get an x20 or g10 iron, really give these a try, and the price now is super low. 4.75/5 rating from me.

i just received a set of these from another member after my 775.CB's were stolen, and i was just wondering how these compare to my old irons in terms of forgiveness. i am really diggin the look of them though. just hope i can hit em. :yahoo:

I've had these for about 6 months now, 4-PW got them barely hit for $100+ with ns pro 950 shafts & really like them a lot, coming from TM Burners 1.0 w/ graphite took a little while to dial in distances, but they are just so smooth for moderate speed swings. Underated & a sleeper iron is right! Looking for wedges to compliment this set - AW & SW.

Still playing these in 2020, probably the only one on the planet. 12 hcp currently after a few years away from the game, lowest was 8. Decided to upgrade the entire bag. What irons would be similar to these nowadays? Thin top line, forgiving?
