stiff or x-stiff?

Hammering the 89g x-stiff in both my driver and 3 wood, but am a little leary of going that stout in the 17 degree hybrid. How stout does the 104g hybrid shaft play? If i can handle the wood shafts, can i handle the hybrid version or would a little extra spin with the stiff be a better bet?

I played the 104X in my hybrid at the same time that I played the 96X in my 5 wood, the 5 wood shaft definitely played stiffer. I think that you will find that the 104X is very manageable for how heavy/stiff it is. You may even want to check out the newer Axivcore red 100X, it is a little lower launch/spin than the V2 and feels better, there is the black too which is a little higher.

The hybrid tour plays smoother than the proforce wood shafts.

Like a lighter steel, but with graphite characteristics. Maybe like TT dynalite?

I am not interested in a light and whippy hybrid shaft, so it works well for me.

I would agree with this. I play the tour hybrid shaft in stiff. If you can handle the woods you can handle the hybrid shaft.

The Hybrid X flex is stiff but has feel to it. This shaft strikes a great balance between the two- which is probably why I still game them.
