Best Driver Head???

I'm getting fit for the first time at VG.

What is the best head for a custom shaft....

I like the Look og the 2010 Cleveland DST Tour..

Since this is the JDM sub forum, I would say the best driver heads that you can buy head only would be the Ryoma Premia, Crazy 460 and perhaps the Kamui.

Another to add to the list would be the JBEAM 445. I have a 10.5 paired with a CRAZY ROYAL DECORATION S and I got better numbers and results than the RYOMA and CRAZY 460, using the same shaft setup.

im new to my one .
but the more ihit it the more i like it ,
wasnt the best selection for me , i should have gotten the 420 not the 456.
just need to find the best shaft for it
think ill go back to he diamana stinger as its a littel higher launch and the kamui head is LOW baby.
but for quality and price, kamui is seriously top notch!

Ryoma is the top choice of those searching for max forgiveness. I did not care for it but I did really like the Crazy 460. I may go back to it or try the Crazy 435 II. Most on the Japan sites say it is crazy long. It has a muted sound at impact so some do not care for it.

Yonex Ezone 380 was recently added to my bag and it's easily the best driver I've ever hit, and I've hit a lot - currently have 10 in my garage, including 910D3, 909D3, MP630FT, two PING i15's, Cleveland XLS Tour, etc...

With the Motore F1 shaft it is amazingly straight on toe hits, and absolutely rock solid and LONG when hit on the screws. I was worried about a 380 head after playing 440 and 460 for so long but it has been an immediate transition and I hit fewer wild drives with it than I've hit in a long time (4 hdcp). It's simply easier to control and a more enjoyable club to hit than anything recent - gives me that feel of nutting a persimmon driver...

I still have a mint 380 head that I plan to shaft or sell. It is the best feeling head that I have hit. When you hit it in the sweet spot it is amazing.

Well the best driver head for me is the Callaway FTiz Tour, have this head shafted with a white board shaft and it is extremely straight and very very long for me my ss is 103 and driver carry alone is 270-280 yards. the ball flight I get is low and the ball seems to refuse to drop to the ground, which gives me extra roll anywhere from 20 to 30 yards.

before this driver i was playing a cobra L4V and I never got more than 270 total carry + roll.

+1 on Ryoma (d2). Honestly love the RAZR Hawk retail model, call away has been making drivers for a while and I believe they know what they're doing. Hit a friends epon af102, very nice but haven't played it enough to formally recommend.
