this conversation is hurting my brain.
the only way a "pull draw" goes where you want it to, is if you are aiming 20* or more out to the right of your target. a true "pull draw" would also require an outside to in swing path, which doesnt happen on the pga tour very often, and no one that i know of is trying to reproduce it.... but maybe im not understanding what the point of this thread is

you can hit a pull draw from the inside if the face is closed to the path and the target line.

just so you know one of the trackman guys is gonna roast you for posting the "old" ball flight laws. welcome to golfwrx!

Exactly. This is my miss, and as I already stated on page one, it is ugly.
It is a result of 1) starting to play with an out to in path and a flip, 2) then learning an in to out to in path, but 3) not trusting the new swing completely and therefore still flipping the clubface closed at times (and overdoing it by miles).

I see a gap. There definitely is a gap.

The target line is a straight line between a players ball and where the player intends the ball to land.

I disagree. The target line is an imaginary line that doesn't even exist, a bit like fairies

On the other hand,... aiming to the right (closed to the target) and hitting a pull-draw (clubface/path/AoA orientation) is VERY real.

According to some on here its the PGA seminar and teaching manual that did you in! You'll experience the "old" ball flight law debacle soon enough LOL!

Just got through reading this. Very interesting. Actually I play a pull draw aiming  at a point on the left side of the fairway with my feet on the same line. It does work but I go to it after my straight down the line shows it ain’t working. Sam Snead said you got to dance with what you ya brung, so options are always available during a round. It’s knowing when to switch it up is the problem.

I had a very predictable what I would call pull draw working today   I'm lefty so aim 30 degrees left of target with feet and shoulders  Setup with strong grip , closed face and strike the ball with my lead elbow and wrist ulnar bone facing the target and my trail palm still facing the sky.  Back of my lead hand faced the ball.  The ball would start left of target (but right of where I was aiming which makes it a "pull" and draw back towards the target   seems repeatable that's why I came looking for this thread

Early in hand photos of the new GT2 models t the truck.  As soon as they show up on the range in player's bags we'll get some better from the top photos and hopefully some comparison photos against the last model.
