whats the best laser rangefinder with the slope?

what is the best range finder laser with the slope feature? what other feature do you really like?

I have a Bushnell 1600, however it is the one without the slope feature because I play am tournaments on and off...and the slope feature is not permitted per USGA rules (even if it is turned off...it is still violates the rules). I like the rangefinder though...easy to use and they do make it with the slope feature if that is important to ya.

I've done a lot of research on range finders recently. The Leupold GX-4 seems to have the most positive reviews out of all that I've seen. Since I play in a number of our club events, I chose to go with a non slope rangefinder. Originally the Leupold GX-1, which I cancelled in favor of the GX-3. The GX-3 (non slope) and GX-4 (slope) both include the OLED super bright red display that blows away (apparently) the LCD displays in other range finders.

ok , since i was at one time a golf pro but now retired i dont play events anymore, my wife and i travel and play alot of courses maybe one time, so i thought it would be fun the to use use the ranger finder after i shoot to see what the yardage might have been, i have a nikon laser that i use only a few times a month if that, i am from the old school so i like to eyeball my own yardage. so i thought it would be fun on some par 3's like at treetops to hit my shot then measure. are they because of the slope, ify in reading correctly?

best is so subjective... functionally the top-of-the-line units will all perform fairly similarly (bushnell even added red #s this yr). the bigger differences will likely be ergonomics and other personal preferences

I currently own the gx-4 and like it alot, bright red characters, easy to read, also have a bushnell v2: not as easy to see, bigger.

I like the gx-4i based off of the reviews I have read so far. Instant yardage and accurate up to 6inches.

I spoke to a Leupold rep and asked if it was that big of a difference from 4 to 4i, he said accuracy w 4 is <120yds +/- .5yd, >120yds +/- 1yd, about a one second lag for yardage to pop up

on the 4i, <120yds +/- 6 inches, >120yds +/- 1 yd, almost instant yardage after pressing button

Am I that accurate?, not that accurate, maybe I can laser my putts with that kind of accuracy.

So for me 1/2yd vs 6 inches, not a big deal, one second lag vs instant yardage, I can live with, If I didn't have the gx-4, I would definitely get the gx-4i
well built, speed, easy to read, and accurate to 6 freaking inches!!!!
