Meadow Brook or Richmond CC

Anyone play either Meadow Brook or Richmond CC in RI this year? Just looking for any feedback on their condition.

I havent played meadowbrook this year yet...but my coach has...

he played the other day... said its in great shape but the greens were pretty furry still.

Thanks. Hopefully they still have the preseason rates when we go Monday. I was supposed to have two rounds at Foxwoods, but got a call that they are aerating early and they had to move one of our rounds. Somewhere just over the border seemed like next best option.

I was able to get out to Meadow Brook this morning. The weather wasn't that great, but the course was in decent condition. The greens weren't punched, but were a bit furry as MikeM8 said.

Played this morning at Meadow Brook and it was e-m-p-t-y. We saw only 5 other people. It was quite interesting to have a course that size to ourselves.

Once the greens dried off (from watering) they got a little quicker, but that means they were rather predictable. Didn't have to kill the ball, but couldn't just tap it either. I actually liked how they rolled. Quite predictable and at that, shots that I thought would bend towards the hole, went straight.

This my 2nd time playing that course and for the price, it's a killer deal.

They said they'll be punching the greens at the end of April. Hopefully, after I play there again on the 26th.

Played Meadow Brook twice and Richmond once this past week. Conditions were very good, but hard. Given the amount of rainwe've had I expected much softer greens and fairways. Everything rolled true and consistent.
