whats taking so long?

anybody else feel this way? Hopefully it won't be another St.Anger because IMO it sucked and alot of fans felt the same way.I saw them 2 yrs ago w/godsmack in the round and they only played 1 song off that CD.Sorry but Hetfield needs to drink to capture the old style and let Kirk play and have and input.

No offence meant, but who cares? They have sucked for what, 12-13 years? Load and then Re-Load, all the crap that didn't make the first album. Metallica today is about as metal as Good Charlottle.

For me the last great album they put out was And Justice for All...The black album was good, but since then it's been a joke.

I will have to agree again, Justice was pretty good and it has been all downhill since. There is no way I'd buy another album of thiers without hearing the whole thing beforehand and I still may not just because the way they acted about Napster.

Justice was fantastic

Black was great

Load was very good

Reload sucked

St. Anger sounded like a bunch of grade schoolers (except Unnamed feeling - that had potential)

They've got Rick Rubin producing the new one. That guy's doing about twenty different bands at once right now. They're still the best live band I've ever seen in my life. Always a fantastic show.
