Bushnell Tour Z6 vs Leupold GX-3i

Narrowed it down to these 2 models. I've used a GX-3 but haven't had any experience with a Bushnell.

 

Which one of these should I get?

Between the two I would say the Z6 since it is waterproof. My only gripes with it is the bezel for diopter adjustment does not lock and the button is a little more difficult to press due to being waterproof.

I have the leupold gx-3i and it is waterproof just like z6...the z6 was based off of the leupold gx design (solid aluminum body). I absolutely love my unit, the prism lock and pin hunter are screaming fast and accurate. I was able to pick up a flag INSTANTLY from 295 yards using prism lock and without it I still got a reading in less than 3 seconds total...from that distance that should say something. I am sure the bushnell is just as good but I am just giving you my 2 cents about the leupold...its almost perfect.

Recently purchased the Z6. Excellent rangefinder. Haven't used the Leupold, but I'm sure it is comparable. IMO can't go wrong with either.

I am very interested in this topic.. I want one and haven´t used any... really never... and I have narrowed it down to these 2 as well. I think Z6 sounds great. Why should I pick the 3xi??

Here is something to consider. When I tested the Leupold at Golfsmith, it seemed that there was a bluish tint when looking through the eyepiece. The Bushnell seemed brighter with no coloration. Try it for yourself. I went with the Z6 and have no regrets.

I love leupold optics but don't care for the blue tint in their golf rangefinders either. I have the hunting version of the Z6 (g-force1300) and it works great. I mainly use it on the practice range as I have a GPS that gets close enough for me on the course.

I just bought a Bushnell Z6 and have nothing but great things to say about it. Get one! It's small and the readout is nice and bright.

I have the Leupold GX-4 that works the same as a GX-3. The newer GX-4i and GX-3i are supposed to react quicker but my GX-4 seems flawless on pins with or without prisms. I have gotten reading on prism pins as far away as well over 500 yards. No problems on pins up to 200 yards as I really don't require a rangefinder for distance longer than that.

I ended up getting the Leupold GX-3i and have played 4 rounds with it so far. It's really quick to give readings and I have no trouble picking up the flag at all.

I'm sure the Bushnell is equally as good but I was able to get a better deal on the Leupold and give it my full endorsement.

I too was contemplating picking up a Z6 or 3Xi and decided on the Leupold (mainly because I have Leupold optics on my rifles). I LOVE this thing and it has saved me many strokes already after only four rounds. I actually like the bluish tint on very bright days as it eliminates glare (just played in super bright 104* weather yesterday).

I have the GX3i and it works flawlessly. The GX4 and GX4i are not USGA approved for tournaments.

I can add this to the topic having used both, the Leupold is soooo much better on the batteries. I guess it goes without saying, I use the Leupold GX-4.
