Empire Springs

I had the pleasure of playing a great little track this past week called Empire Springs while it wouldn't be up there with Hamilton golf and Country club or King's Forest but for 45$ with a cart its a great little hidden gem. The course is fairly new I believe only 4 years old so it doesn't have the full grown mature trees that most golfers in the area are familiar with, but what it lacks in certain areas the course more than makes up for in conditioning. the course uses Kentucky blue grass which in this area is a treat. The owners have done a wonderful job maintaining the course and while the greens aren't running 10 or 12 on the stimp they are some of the nicest rolling greens I've played on in many years and I worked for Clublink for some time. The course is great for beginners but a test for golfers of all levels i was lucky enough in my first outing to post a 68 from the back tees which for now is the course record :taunt:. So to say the least I would recommend Empire Springs to anyone in the Hamilton area looking for a good test at an unreal price.
