SC ACVII and Napa Valley comparison

I know, I know. Day late and a dollar short. Hype is over. Seen it already, what's new? Well, I tried to pull up nickpoz's pics on another site--but the site is down so I thought I'd post my own. I lucked into both of these putters, I may not know people but I'm fortunate to know people who know people. ;) My brother took a stats class once and I had him crunch the numbers, with a limited run of 1/205 and 1/206 for the lefties, there's only a 1/trillion chance that another lefty has both. Did I mention he had to retake the class twice? :cheesy: I am curious as to how many other LEFTIES were able to get one of these things. Please, feel free to chime in. (cool)

Great looking putters and a nice job of overcoming the odds to get both. Do you prefer one over the other or do you like them both equally?

Anyways...congratulations buddy. I'm glad you finally got a matching set. They look fabulous. (said with a flick of the wrist) When you want to add a righty AC VII give me a call. :cheesy:

Thanks dmares. The first one I happened to luck into. Didn't even think to get one, and had I not I never would have tried for this one. Mixed blessing I guess. (cool) I was surprised at how hard it was to procure the Napa Valley. I didn't want to pay the money they were commanding on eBay, or even the relatively discounted prices from guys at TCC, but as I didn't even think they were coming out lefty when they were initially announced I didn't even contact my "guys" and as they had already hit the stores, I figured it was too late.

 

As for preferences, I actually like the finish as well as the stampings of the NV better, but could do without the distractions on the top (circle and line), so the ACVII wins the "at address" award, which should be the standard. Bullet sole is a non-factor for me as the clubs aren't going to get hit. I guess what I'm saying is that I'll probably love next year's limited release "simple top, simple bottom" napa or hate the "crazy top, crazy bottom" napa. :crazy:

Nah, it's used. Camerons lose their cool factor when you actually put the blade to the ball. :cheesy: How's the Byron rolling? :)
