My Bushnell 1600 TE purchase.

Well guys, after much reading and research I ended up buying the 1600 TE Bushnell Rangefinder.

I started a thread on here in regards to the possibility of buying a refurbished unit but staying patient is the key to buying and for the peace of mind, I bought a new unit. I got it for 282.00 shipped and was lucky enough to dodge duty fees to keep it at that price.

 

My initial impressions after using it for the first time today was nothing short of amazing. It’s run on a 9v battery that’s easily replaceable and can be carried around in the carrying case that comes with the unit. I can’t comment on battery life yet as again, first day with the unit.

 

Likes : It’s compact, light and waterproof, three pluses when at the range or course. It takes maybe 15 minutes to learn how to operate the unit, another plus for someone as impatient as myself and the view as well as the readings are as good as it gets.....point, shoot and there it is. All in all I am very pleased with the purchase.

 

Dislikes : It can take some getting used to when it’s really windy as it was today. Be prepared to give it a couple of trys until you get your reading when your off balance due to the wind....I’m sure it’s like this with all units. The price could be a little lower but it is what it is and I think you get what you pay for.

 

I give it a 9/10.
