Had some time to kill the other day, so I took a ride up to my local Golf shop. The only flaw about my bag, is I have to much of a gap between my 4 iron, and my 5 wood. On an average day, I can get my 4 iron out around the 215-220 mark, and the 5 wood I can push to 245-250, of course this is with roll, not carry. So many times in my round i find myself in that 225-235 mark, and thats the only shot thats not in the bag. Not comfortable choking down and taking off a club, since I always tend to pull the ball when doing so. Anyway, I saw an R11 Rescue on the pre-owned shelf, 3 Hybrid 18*. The club was marked $99.00. I was looking at the thing, and there is no way it was pre-owned, or ever seen a golf ball. The club had not one mark on it. The bottom/sole of the club was MINT. I still believe this club was misplaced. It was to good of a deal to pass up, so I pulled the trigger and bought it. I was thrilled, thinking that I have finally filled the gap between clubs, ( I run 3 wood,5 wood, hybrid, no driver) but boy was I wrong. This club is stupid long. I couldn't believe it. I know have a new weapon off the tee, as somehow, this was getting out there past my 3 wood. I went up to my course late in the afternoon, played 2 balls, and was putting this club past my 3 wood on average 10-13 yards. I wouldn't say I'm long, but also no short. Hitting a 6 iron 185, 3 wood goes about 270 ( again, with roll not carry )

While at the golf shop, I almost bought a Golf Pride New Decade grip for the Rescue, and a Super Stroke Ultra slim for my Scotty. If the deal on the hybrid wasn't good enough, the cashier made another mistake. I got the hybrid ($99), the Golf Pride grip($8.99), and the Super Stroke($10.99), and the total was $109. All in all, it was a GREAT day !!

So whats new with the bag? Added the R11 Rescue, Super Stroke Slim on the Scotty, and some funky Purple/White Knit headcovers! Check out the pictures of the Rescue. I still can't believe this thing was "Pre-Owned" I played 18 with it the other day, so it shows some slight marks on the sole.

Whats going on guys?! Found some free time an decided to update my WITB thread with some new pictures, and changed the descriptions. Couple new things, nothing crazy. First, I took out my driver because it did nothing but hurt my game, so I'm just playing a 3wood/5 wood combo. Looking into getting a new technology 5 wood, and going to pull the trigger on that Callaway Utility once it is released to the public. Picked up some Taylormade TP Red w/ LDP golf balls at walmart for $25 a dozen. What an amazing ball! I like it so much, I took the ProV1x's out of play and have been using these bad boys. Also, my new golf glove is the Taylormade Stratus. Pure amazing feel! I took some new pictures tonight, and my Orange towel with my name on it is in the wash, which is why I have that dirty white towel on the bag for the meantime. Anyway, onto the new stuff.

Recently just got this club back from my buddy after selling it to him. Should of never sold the thing in the first place. It was replaced with a Superfast 2.0, which was eventually replaced with the Superfast 2.0 TP. Replaced that with a Nickent 7DT, which didn't last 2 rounds and put the Callaway Steelhead III in play. Long story short, my buddy got a 909 and wasn't using it anymore so he gave it back to me free of charge. It's really turned my game back in the right direction.

For as old as this thing is, it may be my favorite club in the bag! It's my go to club. Have had it in the bag since I started taking the game serious, and no matter how many times I try to replace it with hybrids etc, it always ends up back on the course.

Just replaced my Taylormade Rac MB TP's with these sticks, and man, what a difference. These may be the BEST set of irons I've ever hit in my life. They provide forgiveness without sacrificing the workability of a muscle back.

Got to find myself a new driver. Wasn't comfortable hitting any of the ones I have, so took it out of the bag. It's hard to hit a club you have little-no confidence in!
