Best golf shops in New Jersey

Hi everyone,

I'm in the market for new wedges however I want to go try a couple models out beforehand. Does anyone have a favorite golf pro shop in central jersey, specifically one good to lefties. I know that there is a golf galaxy and golfsmith within 25 minutes of me, but I was moreover looking for a smaller shop that could give me more attention. Initially I was thinking about Branchburg family golf center, but I'm not so sure about their selection considering they don't have many new models.

I was actually going to recommend Branchburg. Out of the shops around me (us?), Branchburg is definitely my favorite...To be honest though I'm not sure what other high quality smaller shops are around the area besides Branchburg and a few pro shops at various courses

The Baltrusol pro shop is about 15 minutes from me but from what I've heard their prices are extremely inflated. I've been to Branchburg only once and it was a very nice pro shop and driving range, and I could definitely benefit from a custom fitting session. But when I was there i didn't really look for lefty clubs or new models, so I wasn't positive, I was just there for the driving range.

Branchburg has a fair lefty club selection I'm pretty sure. Also, I'm planning on getting fit for a driver there within the next couple weeks...we'll see how it goes

Post back how the fitting goes, after wedges I'm looking at getting fitted for a new hybrid.

Any updates/additional recommendations? I'd like to try as many hybrids as possible before making a decision, and don't feel like dealing with the Golfsmith/Golftec D-bags of NJ.

I'm lefty and 5 minutes from Branchburg. They will get you whatever you want to try. Just call and ask for James. He gives me lessons and can pretty much get me any clubs to try. There is not a ton though in stock for lefties if you just show up.
