Classic Club Golf Outing

I know that it would probably be a tough one to arrange but i would love to see a Classic Clubs outing for those who own and play the Classics. We are not the largest group on this site but it sure would be a pleasure to see all the great classic equipment out at a facility somewhere for a fun round of golf and maybe get to try out some of the clubs that everyone here loves to collect and play.

It would really be fun to see the faces of some young players that have not been exposed type of equipment and to hear there comments on seeing how it performs for all of us.

I live in the Houston area and would be happy to set something up if the interest could be generated for such an event, although I am sure that the folks that frequent that frequent this section of the board are spread out all over the country, but it sure would be a hoot!

I bet we could even contact a course and they might even publisize the event to its members to give them a treat to see some history hit their links. I am sure that there are lots of folks that dont even know about GolfWRX but that have and or occasionally play this type of equipment outside of the fine group here.

Anyone in the Houston area interested in getting together to celebrate our interest in Classic and Vintage Clubs by playing a round of golf at Cypresswood Golf Clubs Traditions Course please post your interest here and we can decide on a date and I will personally set up the Tee Times

Live in MI, but last year sold a set of LH Classic Clubs to a young PGA Pro in Dallas, TX-

He said their Section usually held a few Classic events at this time of year.

There is a fair chance I will be in Houston later this fall. If I should get there and can possibly work it out I will get in touch with you and maybe we can do something. I'll PM you when I have a more firm date.
