Fantasy Football Advice

[Olson12]

Getting Late in the season and my QB Big ben just went down. Don't have a whole lot of options as far as who to pick up. I do have Newton so will probably play him for now. Who should I try and pick up as a potential sleeper QB late in the season?

 

Also this week should I play Vernon Davis or Scott Chandler?

 

PPR league.

Tied for 3rd. If you think he will be back as soon as next week I will just play Cam Newton this week and home Ben comes back soon.

You might take a flyer on Foles if Vick is out. Reid likes to throw the ball.

He will definitely not be out the rest of the season. With the Steelers playing Cleveland next week, it shouldn't be too tough of a game so he may or may not play, who knows... but I would say he will definitely be back in 2 weeks for Baltimore.

I am currently 9-1 in my league and I'm as hard core FF player as anybody and I would personally pick Scott Chandler. The Bills don't have many or any elite receivers that can do big damage so he is going to his TE a lot in the red zone. Also, I wouldn't start anybody that is playing my Bears (maybe a bit biased)

As for your QB situation I would just ride the way out with Cam.

Thanks for your advice. I am hoping Cam finally puts a few things together and has a big game.

yeah i mean i dont think its a question. Cam is a better option, even underperforming, than anyone on that list. If you are trying to take a flyer, I would certainly make it matchup based. I would however consider Weeden. Multiple games over 300 yds. Seems to be better as of late too.

as for TE... I would play Chandler. Davis has struggled, may have a backup QB with no real experience in there and they are playing the Bears. That does not bode well.

+1 for Chandler. The dolphins are real good against the run but lack in the secondary. Lots of play action passes that usually will go to the tight end.

I really hope he pulls it together and starts getting some more rushing TD's I've been riding on him since last year and he needs to give me something in return.
