Driving range in London?

This is my first post here. Not sure if this is the right place for this question but nonetheless.

 

Where can I find a golf driving range in the city of London? I'm from abroad coming to London for grad school. But I can't resist the temptation to hit the ball, even though the class schedule is pretty much hectic.

 

I'm trying to find a driving range near London. I don't have a car, so it should be not far from the tube station. Since I'm a student, cheaper alternatives are preferred indeed.

 

If you have any suggestions, please let me know.

[size=4]Depends on where in london you'll be moving to? If you are based in or near west london on the central line (the Red one) West ruislip has a course and driving range right opposite the station. Or if it's north london and you are near the the piccadilly line (the Blue one) Oakwood is a good place as i know there is a course near or around there as a few people take their clubs and get off the train there.[/size]

Thanks for your suggestions. I'm going to check them out next weekend.

I'm currently living near Elephent & Castle (northern/bakerloo line). I was registered late and my uni allocated me to their student accommodation here in the south. But next summer I'll have to move out and find another flat/accommodation. I'll probably looking for somewhere in the northern part of London.

One more question, is there any golf club for hire in Oakwood/West Ruislip? I left my bag at home but I'll probably going to buy a newer club here. *finger crossed*
