Tampa to Lauderdale. Any courses on the way to break up the drive.

Hi all. Planning a bachelor party for my buddy. We are heading to to Tampa and then Lauderdale to watch the Pens take on the Lightning and then the Panthers. We are planning on golfing each day so looking for some recommendations. Need one good course in Tampa for our first day. The next day we will be driving down to Lauderdale and could use a course on the way to break up the drive. There seems to be 2 options to get there. Straight south down 75 and thru places like fort Meyers and Naples. Other option seems to be straight east across the state then down 95 thru place like Jupiter beach, west palm and port st lucie. I have no clue what nice courses are along those routes. Looking for opinions on what may be the nicest courses along the way.

Best daily fee in TPA is TPC Tampa Bay. If you're willing to drive, then head to World Woods (less than an hour from the airport). If heading down 75, Old Corkscrew in Estero is 5 miles off the interstate. It's tough, but good. However, I'd take the scenic route and hit up Streamsong.

Thanks benkodi. Wow. That streamsong looks fantastic. Unfortunately, I don't think I can convince the rest of the guys on a $400 round. Unless there is a way to get a discount, think I need some more options. Probably looking at $100 range as being our max as long as its nice.

Check out Plantation preserve in Plantation. I mean its an urban muni but its freaking stellar. Top course in dade and broward counties. Paspalum greens!

From Tampa:
If you go east then south try PGA Golf Village in Port St. Lucie. 3 courses.
If you go south there are soooo many good courses in Bradenton / Sarasota.
Legacy, Waterlefe and on and on.
Check the rates cuz winter time the rates are high.

In Jupiter you'll find just off I-95 and Donald Ross eastbound Abacoa GC.......really good green complexes!! should be under a hundred and worth it.....
