Bushnell Tour V3 battery life

Does anyone know if the Tour V3 has any improvements in battery life over the Tour V2? The battery life for the Tour V2 is awful and I have to change the battery about every 3 months. I was wondering if the V3 is any better.

You need to contact Bushnell, in the UK they replaced poor preforming units because of battery life. Worth a try.

I've had mine since March. Just the other day I noticed a slight lag with spotting a flag, I had to try to scope it a few times before it finally locked on. Wasn't sure if the battery was getting low or not, regardless I stopped at walmart and got a 2 pack of batteries just in case. If it dies in the next few rounds I'll let you know.

I had mine for the past year but at the end of the season (or near the end)
Played 13 rounds with it no battery change was needed.

This year I put in a fresh battery to see how long it last or will last. Played 17 rounds so far on 1 battery and no issues.

I have a V2, it used to eat batteries like M&M's. (Like 3 rounds and dead)

I bought 2 rechargeable batteries with charger on Amazon for $22 (or thereabouts).

It's been on the same battery for 2 months 20 or so rounds, with no sign of weakness.

At $7 per for the disposables, I'm already way ahead of the game.

The V2 takes a CR2 battery, I think the V3 does as well.

I have friends w/ the same battery issue on V2's my V3 however has been great even w/ the added Jolt technology. I had a freind w/ the V2 that would actually take the battery out after each round, bad contacts or something that would just drain the battery but would be fine if he removed it.

The V3 I have has been going strong since Feb and I play 2-3 times a week. I figure I've put in at least 40 rounds since.
