Nike 20XI PI

So before someone yells at me I did the search and could not find anything on the forum. But last week when they did a close up of Rory's ball I saw a pi symbol and haven't heard anything about it. Now tonight watching "On The Range" Paul Casey did a whats in the bag and showed his new prototype 20XI Pi golf ball. Does anyone have any info on this ball?

Well it's just like a retail 20XI, except it's a 2008 prov1x.

It was originally developed for Tom Selleck, but caught on with the regular staffers.

Paul Casey was talking about it "on the range" about being a Bigger Core ball to give more spin on his driver, also the hardest in feel.

Yeah I saw that just hoping someone here would have a little more. Must be doing something right if Rory and Casey are playing it. Know if anyone else is playing it?

There are 12 versions of the 20Xi ball. The Pi ball is named after the head of the ball division.

The versions are very similar to the retail balls, but with slightly different covers.

Oh, and Rory plays the Pi ball too

Rory playing this balls makes sense as he mentioned looking for a little more spin this week. Based on the discription this would be a great ball for me so I'm interested as well! BB

It has the cover of the original 20xi with the insides of the 2013 versions. The cover is 3pts softer hence the Pi name.

Interesting...I am a fan of the new 20xi-x but it does sound like this would be a great combo of the two.

On the 20XI X pi it has the cover of the original retail 20XI-X.

Anybody think there's a chance that TW will end up switching to this ball or any version of the 20XI before the end of the season & will he play the Spin or Distance version of the ball?
