Flexibility?

What are some good golf specific exercises to increase your flexibility? Thanks.

Well we had a guy who runs a clinic come to our class, he focuses more on NHL Players and it the strength training coach to Alex Ovechkin.

 

He gave us a bunch of exercises to do for stretching...I'll try to scan the sheet or find it on the net because they were all really really good and work really well...

That would be great if you could scan it or find it...I'd love some stretching exercises too.

And how often should you do the stretches? Every day?

Alright scanners not working so I took pics...did my best will try to get the scanning done...

 

If you have an questions about any of the exercises just ask in this thread and ill explain what each one is/how to do it. There are some for core strength and Knee and Hip strength as well if you want those...

One of a few I do sitting in a chair with a club behind the back, and rotating a bit past what you think is enough, really trying to get as far around as possible, both ways. Thats a core type thing there.

 

That sheet puts what I do to shame. Usually I just do a multitude of stretches I've learned from the baseball season, and they seem to keep me limber. Butterflies, touch toes, arms stretches, etc. Tough to explain.

At the bottom of the top sheet they have the same drill except its with putting your on knee on the ground...Your are supposed to try to turn as much as possible while exhaling, switching sides each time. After you do about 5 to each side switch legs and do the same...each time trying to go further and further...

i had to do all those steps in my fit for life class back in high school.. that class helped me alot
