Nothing wrong with my talent or attitude but I am a little frustrated at the moment. Would love to get sorted out.

Golf can get the best of us, but you should never make statements like that. I get it, been there done that. Never say you suck, just my opinion though.

My post was pure sarcasm. Can't see to much in that swing video. A face on view might be better.

A couple thoughts...

In the video you have complete inability to hold your finish in balance...

Start with that...

Second, start hitting some shots with the ball above your feet with slower and more balanced motions. Pay attention to feel.
[/quote]In that video I just hit a bad shot and gave up on the finish. How will hitting the ball above my feet help?

The title of this video clearly shows you are frustrated with your game and by the looks of the finish on that shot your mental game has left you. If you are seriously shooting 75 one day and 95 the next it is not your swing that is the problem. Your swing and technique will not change that much within one round. So in my opinion I would start by focusing on your mental game.

There a couple of small things I want to mention that might help your thinking:

1. Commit to every shot. Do not do what you have done in your video and look disgusted by your shot. This is an emotional trigger that will register in your brain, making you remember the shot and all the bad feeling that came with hitting it.

2. Accept your bad shots...no matter how many you have a round. They are part of the game and the challenge of golf, embrace them as such instead of thinking you deserved a better result. I may be quoting the wrong player but i think Jack Nicklaus once said he expects to hit 7 bad shots per round, the best player in golf history expect 7 bad shots around so how many should you be expecting?

3. Think about why you are truly frustrated. Is it because you hit a bad shot? or the pressure of hitting the next shot from a hard position like in the trees or from a fairway bunker? If its the latter i suggest you spend more time on scrambling for pars from bunkers and other hazards.

4. Try not to be so results orientated. Just because you hit a block or a fade into the junk it does not mean you cant still make birdie or par, it is just a bit harder, but you dont play this game because it is easy right? Golf is not about hitting a sexy looking shot or longest ball, its about grinding out the best score you can based on how you are hitting it that day, even if that means a 95 when you are a 5 h'cap.

The sooner you accept your bad shots and the fact that you will go through bad, irratic streaks of scores the quicker you will start to play better golf. Trust me I felt the same way you are feeling now!

Aside from that you should take pride in your swing! You have a beautiful set up and golf swing! In your video you are not square on with the camera and therefore i cannot see "down the line" of your swing. But there are some things you could note:

1. Your right leg looks like it is straightening on the back swing - this will cause your body and weight to slide rather than turn on the backswing, which generally can make it hard to turn correctly on the downswing.

2. If you pause your swing at impact you can see you have lost your height and posture. You have gone into a C shape. This cramped position you get yourself into makes it hard to clear your hips and release your hands at impact, which is what I see at impact, hips square with your stance rather than facing toward your target and an open clubface.

If you want to work on mechanics my advise would be to get you working on 3 things (not all at once). Firstly practice holding that right leg in position and stop it straightening on the backswing. At the same time practice maintaining your height and posture throughout your golf swing A good drill for you posture is to set yourself up in your stance with your bum against a wall (so you are in your golf stance with bum just touching the wall) from there take your backswing keeping your bum touching the wall at all times and the same on the downswing. Keep your bum on the wall until your natural hip turn pulls your bum off the wall. If you rise out of your posture or tuck you bum in at impact like in the video you bum will come off the wall. If you dip your bum should push you off the wall. Look at any pro in slow mo and you will see how well they hold their posture throughout their swing. Once that is learnt start on clearing your hips if the other stuff has not naturally sorted that out.

Dont beat yourself up! Your swing looks great!
