feel is amazing...an i think i may like the feel of the one over the balde now...

 

i got it on ebay last week...there is one on there right (different model) now for under $200..the seller (smilegolf613) is great..i dont know how often they show up on there...the seller is great

Thanks, the one on ebay isnt as nice as yours. I think your's has a nicer finish and stampings. If you dont mind, how much did you paid for it ?

the guy had both GF's up for at least a month and a half with NO ONE bidding...and like only 30 people even looking at the auction...

 

you might try emailing him and seeing if he can get you another one...

 

i was a little worried that it might be a fake at the price i paid, but i dont think it is...and even if it is, the feel is AMAZING...

 

i have a old gun blued cameron newport (2?) that is similar...but the GF is WAY softer

 

of coarse, all this is indoor...i will take it for a real test ride in a few months...stupid Illinois

Good question. Bald-e? or Bald with the silent "e"? or heck any thing you want. This is the closest I can find for the origin of the word:

i saw where balde means "white" hence bald eagle so that migh be right...but its not white

They are nice putters..but a blatant rip off of Byron`s patented hosel...You might say big deal..but Byron`s Japanese and Korean distributors point this out all the time.

isn't Gauge Japan suing Whitman for infringing on their hossel patent?

 

anyway, i don't know Byron putters...could you post some pictures showing what you are talking about?

I don`t want to hijack your thread but here is a 10.5 with the High Beam hosel. Byron talked to David about the hosel on a few different occasions.. he finally stopped making it..
