Hey WRX, new golfer here. I've always been a big fan of the sport and have watched on TV for many years. I've always been involved in team sports and never really had any time to devote to it. Now that I'm done with team sports I'm focusing on golf. I've gotten my hands on a pair of old used clubs 3-PW, Driver, a couple woods and a putter. I've logged a lot of hours in the backyard practicing and putting in my house and I am stepping foot on a course for the first time this Monday. I'm really nervous but I guess it's gotta be done sooner rather than later.

 

Anyway, I'm on here to learn a lot and just talk golf. See ya out there.

As someone who played team sports through high school and into college, I wish I'd picked up this game sooner (didn't start until 40). Have fun and enjoy. And don't worry about those old clubs, someone here will glady sell you something newer over at the BST forum!
