Most Embarassing Moment on Course

Once I waited for the green to clear on a par 5 and then I didn't even hit it! That was pretty bad.

 

Now I just lay up.

Crapped my pants on the 8th hole on the muni. Had bad chili the night before. Drove home sitting on a plastic bag. Showered and cleaned up. Drove back and finished my 18 with a score of 79. First time I ever broke 80, I had to finish!!

 

My dad sharted on the way to the first tee of a 2 man. I had to take his @$$ to the restroom so he could remove his soiled undergarments. :good:

After a night if cheap beer drinking with my buds... we decided to go golfing next day earlyish the next morning. Every thing going fine until about the 7th hole when the brewing began. I felt the beer S^##S coming on so fast that I had to leave in between shots and waddle my way tippy toed to the 12th where there was a bathroom. LUCKILY I made it, or the embarassment factor would have been multiplyed by a million and would have moved away, and made new friends.

 

Now thats a funny story..... :good: :cheesy: :cheesy:

A couple of bad ones for me...

 

1: Hit my drive into the left rough (more hardpan than rough) and was about 195 to the green with a tree blocking the route about 75-100 out. Buddy tells me I should just slap back onto the fairway or try to get it just short of the tree. I tell him that the shot is not a problem and I'll make the green. Pull out my 5-wood and send it straight into that tree. We hear about 5 loud thuds and then see the ball coming right back at us...takes about 4 hops on that hardpan and is sitting just about at my feet. He was laughing his a** off due to result of my cocky shot. Not too bad and we laugh about it from time to time.

 

2: Playing with a buddy at a nicer course and he is having a bad day. We are about half way through and he puts up a great iron shot onto the green. I was standing about half way between him and the green near another tee box. In an attempt to get him back into things mentally, I gave him a really loud great shot yell...while someone was teeing off right behind me. Felt like a total a** and just wanted to hide. Much more embarassing moment than the one above...

2 weeks ago my buddies and I were playing a four man scramble at trump national. we were killing it at 13 under when we came to a shortish par 4 with a pot bunker out about 260. I was batting clean-up and after everybody hit terrible drives OB, I was encouraged (by my partners) to play safe with a hybrid. Since I had hit every fairway with my driver I decided to go for it with the driver. Actually put a good swing on the ball but ended up in the side of one of Trump's mickey mouse pot fairway bunkers.

 

Unfortunately we had to play that shot. Had to stand in the bunker and swing into the steep hillside with the ball severely above my feet. Trying to pitch the ball thirty yards to the green and thought my X wedge was a reasonable play. Take my stance and swing. Next thing I know I'm sitting in the bunker and my glasses are hanging off my face, proV1x right beside me in the sand. Yeah, I hit myself in the face with my golf ball. I think I bounced the ball off the hillside.

 

Luckily everybody saw.
