North Myrtle Beach club sales ?

I'm in north myrtle beach staying on the beach for this week and the wife gave me the okay for a set of irons !!

 

The question is where is the best place to buy used clubs at a decent price ?

 

Can anyone give me some store to check out and maybe some addresses?

PGA Superstore in north myrtle might have a used section. Have to say i LOVE myrtle beach. one of my favorite places

Martins and Golf Dimensions are the 2 big names in the area. They are right across the street from one another in North Myrtle Beach. I prefer Martins but when looking for used it is best to check out both.

Martin's in North Myrtle Beach is no more. It is now a PGA Superstore. And yes, it is right across the street form Gold Dimensions.

I think North Myrtle doesn;t have much. Everything is south and you'll have to drive.

Well the pga store might have a few things I'm looking for.

Here's the story

Playing old 300 forged irons now. Looking for something newer.

Found an hit some mp53 which are very nice irons. There asking 399.99

But then I found some 712 mb 7-pw with 712 ap2 5-6 combo set.

And the 712's are only $299.99

So I'm going to go back tomorrow. Any advice on which ones ? Are the prices right on what they are selling for now?

X proto's
660mb
I3 blades

I can handle them all but it seems I'm just looking for "that set" that just lets me know that's the one !!

Any advice is appreciated

You see, you like, you buy! I was there in august and passed on a sweet method putter with a as grip. Drained putts for 10 mins and put it down. Went back the next morning.... Gone already. Preowned and trade ins move quickly at times!

Both PGA Superstores in that area are hit and miss with used clubs. It seems to depend on what they gave the person for the trade in value more than anything. I have seen some really overpriced gear and then the next time I see a steal of a deal on a solid club with an up charge shaft. I love checking out the inventory when I'm up in that part of the MB.

Have you done a comparison vs. ebay prices? That would be a good start.

Golfsmith Extreme has a nice selection and so does Golf Dimensions.

I checked out both golf dimensions today, gonna check out

Golfsmith extreme
Worlds largest golf only store
Professional discount golf
Nevada bobs golf
John daly's
Akers discount golf

Will be checking those out tomorrow looking for a used set of irons.

And advice on ones to avoid or to check first are appreciated.

Thanks again for the input hopefully I can find something before Sunday as I am playing Glassy and The Cliffs then and would love to test out some new irons
