USGA Local Qualifiers, MET Area...

US Open/US Amateur...

Does anyone have any information on the location for any of the US Open local or US Amateur qualifying sites for the Metropolitan (NJ/NYC/LI/Ct) area? I know the apps come out in March, but if anyone has any kind of insider information, that would be great. Thanks.

PS: Connecticut golf association has already posted theirs, as has the GAP (philly). So obviously they have been established...

The MGA should have their sched up pretty soon

The USGA Pub Links is usually at Bethpage Blue every year, the Ams usually rotate to different courses depending on your location in the MGA area

Yes, I'm aware that it rotates, which is why I'm asking if anyone knows where any of them are. Apparently the Open Local Q. for LI will be at Laurel Links. Thats a start.

well you didnt make it clear you knew that they rotated, hence me trying to say that some of them infact dont rotate.

Thanks for the info James. I realize that may have come across as snippy but I didn't mean it that way.

I played in the Pub Links qualifyer there a couple years ago before I joined a club, and I'll be there again this year(I left that club).

I was given the stuff on Locals, butstill looking for the Am stuff. Any help would be appreciated.

I met him at the Met Amateur. He was very nice, we were chatting it up on the range as he is friends w/ the kid who caddied for me (a better player than I). He's got game...

hmm i guess the question was more, knowing how good Andrew is, now that Rudy is running, Im wondering what, if any, affect the announcement might have on his game, meaning I wonder how much time hed have to spend on his fathers campaign, doing appearances and media events etc etc and if that would have any effect on his practice/playing time etc

what is a big campaign stop without the full family there for photos etc etc? right? Modern day politics affects the entire family of a person running etc etc

we all can agree how great he is for sure!

Yea. I don't think this year will be that effected by the campaigning.

I also feel like playing out of Trump will only help his game and ability to practice.
