Any info on the new Miura fairway metals?

Hi, yes we are starting to release them to some specific dealers for sampling purposes for them to do there testing on them. Early November will be when they will go on the market for everyone to purchase.

Not sure how I feel about this wood. The quality and craftsmanship is impeccable but Miura isn't known for their woods. Also the face seems very thick and tall on this one so not sure how performance would be. The finish is like the SIT-460 driver except its not as matte. Like semi-matte with some metallic sheen. I thought I would be bummed I didn't get a complete Miura bag but after seeing this in person I feel I made the right choice with the S-Yard XV.

 

I know there are other more famous-for-their-wood brands for JDM gear but this is a nice looking fairway IMO.

No, they are not scheduled to be released until Novemeber so if you are looking to make a quick buck just ask for whatever you feel comfortable with and base it on their existing line up. They have the SIT460 driver and the HB3 hybrid so price it somewhere in between.

Here is a shot of my SIT 5 wood off the tee at Ocean Dunes in Oregon...the head is not large and is dead easy to hit off the tee or off the ground....that shot went 240 with a tiny draw.

Ocean Dunes is in Florence....about an hour north of Bandon Dunes.....nice little links course in the dunes.....they call it "A touch of Scotland in the Dunes"

Really liking the SIT 3 thus far, it exudes quality! Initial first round impressions are it's pleasantly shaped, nice sound at impact, sits square, and great off the tee and turf.
