I got the pro shop (in the UK) to change my SB2 to a 38" counterbalance by adding an extension, counter weight and 18" grip.

I told them the lie angle did not need changing.

Is that correct?

If you are unable to reshaft then extension is fine. No worries at all.

I've had a FGP mallet for a few years and love it.
I feel funny asking..but...never been 100% certain about
the position of the ball on the face. I always thought the alignment line
should be in the center of the ball but it seems to feel a little more
solid when I put the ball between the alignment line and the shaft.

There is never a silly question when it comes to putting. Ask away. Feel free to call us or email at [email protected] anytime. We have heard this before. Some players get a feeling at the alignment line and some just inside it for the best feel. The bore hole is just inside the alignment line therefore this could be the reason why you feel as if it is more solid for you there. The nice thing about your SeeMore is that wherever you feel the best spot, make sure you have it in the same place. Therefore ensuring consistency for every single putt. Call or email for more info.
