No experience of this specific model but I have played and owned the NS Pro 850 and 950 which share the same basic bend profile. This family of shafts suit a player with a smooth swing, little to no aggression and an early release. The 750 carries an hefty price premium for the modest reduction in weight. The 750 has just been replaced by a new ultra light model the ZELOS 7.

Here is a review of the Nippon shaft family which might help.

The S2S Wishon White graphite shaft has a bend profile very similar to the Nippon NS pro 850, it is ~75 grams in regular and is a very good performer, plus good value (parallel only).

Hi, I ve got them in my Mizuno MP 4. Not an original option, they were originally shafted with Nippon NS pro 950 GH. Obviously 750 WT much lighter. They have good feel, and are very consistent, at least for my swing speed about 80 mph with a 7 iron. High flight, not ballooning. Tight dispersion, a good shot will have always the same result. Of course, expensive, but worth it. You might try the new Nippon Zelos 7, more or less the same weight but cheaper, and made with new materials. Happy with them.

Hi Golfnologist,

the 750 is a rather soft shaft - bendprofile and frequency wise. As already stated, it fits players with a very smooth swing and relatively low swingspeeds. It's for sure not a hitters shaft. From my own experience as a fitter and custom clubmaker, I prefer the new Zelos 7 over the 750 Wrap Tech. Pricepoint and performance wise.

Regards,
Michael

I have the 750GH in a set of 2009 AP2s (first gen). I did a fitting at Cool Clubs in Scottsdale. The only setup I found that compared was the Ping G20s, but I couldn't get used to the look at address with them. At 5'7", 131 lbs., I'm not the biggest guy nor do I have WRX levels of swingspeed. It did get my carry and spin numbers up (+10 yds from Project X 5.5, and not quite sure of the spin rate increase off the top of my head), and fatigue was reduced during 18 hole rounds from not having to wield a comparative sledgehammer on every iron shot. It enabled me to win my golf league and the trophy for most birdies this summer.

Pros:
- light weight
- better spin, carry, and apex height

Cons:
- mad expensive
- your bros will call them lady noodle-flex shafts...until you wreck them and take their money

What were the differences in performance between the two? Thinking of these for AP2s. Don't have a budget. Thank you
