last night I decided to toss a loose shaft into my g400 three wood and bring it to an event today
It was the Aldila copper x torsion 60s, tipped by Ping for my g400 driver
(Glad I did as my beloved Oban Revenge 65x decided to shear off on our ninth hole) ... no abuse, it just fell off. (Makes sense as I had some squirrelly drives on the previous four holes)
Anyways, this 3 wood hits laser fades and draws and is loooong, and easy off the deck, even when set at 13.9*
Fwiw, I also love the Aldila NVS 85x - in pink - in my 5 wood
Took to my fitter after the round and 2 hrs of practice. Specs are 44", d7, cpm at 250 cpm - with a mid size grip on
So >>>>
Shaft ideas for the g400 driver? Cpm at 245 ??? at 46" ??? D7 as well?
The fitter agrees some of my 46" shafts at 270 cpm are likely too stiff for me now at my current 107-108mph action
I prefer to go with my 400 LST head vs my 410 LST for consistent look and feel

On -, @Howard Jones ???

I have a rip 60 nl x and a rip phenom 50 tx ... but w 410 tips on them
