Cameron - Model 009 Beach (Black Pearl)

I need some help.

I see on Cameron's Authentication Registry the 009 Tour model putters. There are a few with the sound slot, ala the Beach version. Even better, a couple in the Black Pearl finish.

I have been to the Titleist Performance Institute. I am a member of Club Cameron. Yet, I cannot figure out how & where to purchase the rare models --- I assume not issued for sale to the public. I see posts about members here "ordering from the custom shop" --- it sounds as if they order directly from Cameron's workshop. I even joined Bill Vogeney's yahoo club to learn more.

Selfishly, I would like to trade all my current Cameron's (including one from TPI with my initials) for the 009 Beach in Black Pearl.

Any help and advice is greatly appreciated.

This sounds like a broken record but here goes again. There are only a few "distributors" of Tour Cameron products. If you just want to order a custom one, without a Circle T, then try Jim Butler at Tablerock Golf. He has some Tour ones sometimes too. To get others, you need to talk with Dave Robles or Dalton Davies. There are maybe 3 others but, I can't remember them right now. For a 009, I think its going to run $2500-4k depending upon material and finish.

How does ordering a custom model go through Mr. Butler (Tablerock)? Does Cameron prefer to work through him? Just curious.

Jim Butler is a very good friend of Scottys. He helped Scotty get going in the Putter business and supported him for a long time. Jim is a very nice and knowledgeable person and you can call him at his shop and ask to speak with him. He will tell you what he has in stock and what he can do for you. Just be prepared for the cost. All of the top tier connections have a relationship with Scotty in one way or another.
