Mp25 long term reviews

Anyone been gaming these for awhile with reviews?

Im pulling the trigger on a used set for a backup set, had lots of mizuno irons and sold them all, none were good enough to stay long term...

How are the mp25s for distance, forgiveness accuracy, etc?

Been using them for 5 years. Great irons for turf interaction, shot shaping, strike feedback and looks.

i’m about to move to Titleist T100 because I like how they have a little more tech and tungsten out towards the toe.

But MP25’s will stay as a back up and hand me down to my boy.

I got a good deal so wanted to try them, I keep cycling through irons but like Mizuno so hope they work out!

Im a +1 so looks is important but need to be able to work ball and have a little forgiveness, how are the long irons?

Anyone else still gaming them thats compared to new 2108/19 irons?

Anyone compare to say mp29s, t100s, cobra cbs or anything newer?

IIRC, MP25s have the Boron added to the 1025 CS. I have had a set for about 3 yrs and play them regularly. They look and play as well as any other club I have (MP4, MP5, MP15, MP69, Cobra ACP). One thing is the feel, they seem to feel a shade harder than my other forged irons. Could be in my head though. doesn't affect playability at all. Great set of irons. I have Recoil Proto 125 F4s in mine.

So far I really like mine, the 3/4 launch a tad low but the rest go higher than other irons I have. So far accuracy and workability is good, used them like 27 holes here and there but really like the look.

Anyone else gaming these or kept them for awhile or gone back to them?

Hoping the long term reviews are good then I can sell some of my other stuff.

They were slept on a bit because of the boron. Not quite as soft as the MP5 or MP4 (which are fan favourites on here). This line from Mizuno (including the MP5) had sort of shovel-ish short irons for some reason. They also aren't particularly more forgiving than the blades. With that said, they are a nice iron and look pretty cool. If you like them that's great. You can't really go wrong with any sets of Mizuno MPs if you're a low HC.
