Bridgestone E6+ vs Srixon Trispeed

Funny you asked, I just made up my mind, both ball were identical to me in the feel, spin and durability, were the E-6 failed was in the distance due to the high launch angle, horrible in the wind.

i have just started using the Trispeed over the past 3 months, and it is a great all round ball.

Im not sure where you are in this world, but TODAY'S GOLFER in the Uk have just done an extensive golf ball comparison this month, using Pros and a variety of handicap golfers, and both balls were 'put to the test'.

The trispeed came out as one of the favourites and best on test.

I'd think the Treosoft would compare better, but...that said, the e6+ is a high trajectory, mid to low spin balls, so depends on your flight and what looking for. There are 3 balls in the E+ line each palys differently.

The e5+ is like a cheap 330s or Pro V (actuallly longer than ProV) whith tons of spin around greens, e7+ is lower trajectory higher spin version of e6, so I'd try a sleeve of each

Trispeed. Love this ball for windy days or when it's a little colder out. Great ball, never cared for anything but B330 bridgestone offerings, some people swear by them, but I swear at em. Matter of opinion though don't be afraid of switching up part way through the year either, as the weather changes a ball may fit better for you due to conditions.

How can you see this ball test if you live in the states??

I've played both the e6+ and the Trispeed last summer. During a trip to Myrtle Beach last spring I thought I would try the Taylormade Burner TP and Srixon Trispeed. After trying those 2 balls along with a round with the e6+ I came away loving the Trispeed. In fact I bought another dozen before I left MB to come home. I did not like the Taylormade Burner TP, don't get me wrong it is a good ball but not the best choice for me. So for my ranking Srixon Trispeed is #1 then Bridgestone e6+ a close 2nd.

after reading the Todays golfer tests again today - the Bridgestone e7+ came out the best of the Bridgestone and was very very similar to the trispeed... the e6+ was not so favourable.

Bridgestone e6 is a great ball, distance, accuracy, and played in the wind is very good, like the later entry where it does not play in the wind.

This is only my findings thoug, there are many differences in each persons swing to show different results. :clapping:

I have played dozens of rounds with both and they don't differ that much, my SS is about 105 and I suffer from the fades. They both are straight and feel soft. The Trispeed goes a little farther off the tee for me but I like it less than the e6 off the irons and this is not scientific by any means but the e6 holds greens better but just marginally. If you are a bump and run player either is going to treat you fair. If you play spin then there will be a sacrifice with both. The only real soft surlyn ball that seems to spin that I have played is the wilson zip, but I have not hit it enough yet to know for sure.

Living in the US I'm unable to get the magazine. Can you tell me if the spin rates for the Trispeed were noted?

I think that the Bridgestone Treosoft would compare to the Srixon SoftFeel, no the Trispeed.

That being said, I have only played the e6 or the SoftFeel for the last 2 years and I am looking forward to finally tring the Trispeed soon. I think it will suit my game better then the SoftFeel.
