R7 425 vs R7 460 Retail

Has anyone here hit both the R7 425 and the R7 460? I'm thinking of trying out one of the new Taylor Mades and wondered what people thought of them. This will be the first Taylormade driver I've tried since the Burners. Any thoughts or experience with these will be a help.

I bought my 425 about two weeks before the 460 came out so didn't get to hit the 460. The 425 is a very nice driver. Be sure to hit both of them with all the shaft options you have access to so you can judge for yourself which one works for you. This too was my first experience owning a TM driver. It is in my bag and will stay there until I discover the next latest, greatest thing I can't live without.

i tried both at a demo day..425 better than 460 i thought because the ball seemed to come off hotter...i am sure the 460 would be more forgiving, but the 425 is "forgiving enough"...i am a decent ball striker, so "huge" forgiveness is not my numero uno priority

If you have a slower swing speed the 460 is for you. I prefer the 425 as I like to try and hit the ball with all my fury. Both are forgiving, the sound of the 460 seemed much louder than the 425. I think the 580XD is actually a better driver than the 460. I liked the look of the 425 at set up much better. I felt that the 425 gave me more distance. Just my 2 cents.

Thanks for the reply's. I'm actually taking some time off of golf as I've neared the breaking point with my swing and just need to take it easy for a while. But I'm going to have a new stick to swing when I come back. I hit the 460 the other day but my swing is so messed I couldn't gather any info off the test. The 425 felt better at address but I did not hit it.
