Here i am at Predatorridge golf course in BC. I love it at the course it is just a little too far from Vancouver for my liking.

If i bought a place there when they first built it i would be rich now LOL

Pretty stunning looking course. Must make a note of that one if I ever get to British Columbia.

Reader, good call, I've stayed at the Ritz twice and played the Norman design a few times. I really like the layout.

I caddied for my my pro in the NE Section Championship Qualifier, and the course is absalutely incredible. The cart paths consist of crushed shells, and there was not one spot on that course that wasn't in perfect condition. From the tips, there are some LONG par fours, the sixth hole was playing 485 yards, into a 25mph wind (the tee markers were two paces back from the 483 marker image/blink.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':pimp:' /> ). Even though I didn't get to play it, the experience was just breathtaking.

There are defenitely some risk reward tee shots, like number five is a driveable par 4, but you have to hit it PERFECT, there is a waste bunker that you have to aim over on your tee shot, trouble over the green, and pot bunkers left and right. Another one on the eighth, if you haven't played the hole before it's really weird how it's set up. There are trees that are inbetween the 8th and 7th fairway and you can bomb a driver over the trees to the right to reach it in two, but if you hook it (or pull it) at all, there is the protected wildlife that you can't hit out of. Overall it was an incredible experience, and even more nasty track. The only one thing that some of the mini tour guys were complaining about was that there was no driving range, but I guess the course had gone bankrupt when it was a private course becuase they did not get enough members to cover their dues. In order to score, you have to hit the fairways all the way around, aswell as be fairly long (due to some of the absurdly long holes).

One hint, if you are going down, and plan on staying for the night/weekend, I would strongly reccomend stopping at a hotel in Fall River, or just a tad bit south. It only is a 10 or so minute drive from the course, but once you get into Newport, the lodging rates start to sky-rocket very fast.

    Cheers, Bryan image/smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />

Here are a few from my adventures throughout the world.

    1. This is the 15th hole(par 3) at Le Muria Resort in Praslin, Seychelles. The tee box is 100 ft. above the green!!!

    2. This is the 14th hole(par 4) at Le Muria Resort. This was, by far, the most breathtaking course I have ever experienced.

    3. This is the 2007 Dubai Desert Classic site. The Desert Course in Dubai.

    4. Me at The Auld in San Diego. Man that was a tough SOB. The weather was absolutely perfect though.

    5. Looooong greenside bunker shot at Bay Creek, VA. Arnold Palmer course on the Eastern Shore.

    6. This is the only course with grass open to the public in Bahrain. Riffa Country Club. The course was extremely well kept, like all the other middle eastern courses.

    7. This is the Wild Wing Plantation in Myrtle Beach, SC. Nice lil' par 3.

    8. Me again in South Carolina at The Wizard.

Newport National was great. It was my 2nd time playing there. It's no doubt my favorite course in NE right now. Played with my bro and a good friend Everyhole is a blast. What a design. It's just a real jem of a course. IMO it could easity host any PGA event including a major, its that good. 7244 yds from the back tee, Its tough from the back tees, but it's a blast. The weather was also good yesterday.

This is a pic taken during our area wide tournament that actually made it to the front page. I ended up the day shooting 67, shooting 72 the next Sunday and winning by 5.

Picture of me at the British Open, St Andrews 2005. Another of my son with Todd Hamiltons bag just after he finished his round, he autographed it. Picture of Tiger showing off the Claret Jug. Lastly the Claret jug sitting on the window of my mates Pro shop. His course was used for the final qualifying.

Hamilton is a **** of a guy if he gave away his bag to your boy. He should remember that forever. He'll say Tiger who? when talking about his favorite golfer.
