now thats a golf bag.....awsome. how do you like the razr 3 wood. I just got a razr fit driver and was thinking about getting the 3 wood also.

Yup new this week for the irons. Need to put a good swing on them but very sweet.

Two iron is a tee club at this stage. Ground fairly wet at the moment so no roll but hit a nice 200m one today.

Don't have anything to compare with the 3 wood so can't really comment.

I just love the look of the irons in the bag!

man, that is a sweet setup! What do you normally take out of the bag to get down to 14?

Those are fantastic looking irons.

I'd usually swap between the 5 wood and 2 iron and take out a wedge - I really should get a 54* so I can go 47* PW, 54*, 60*.

As these are new I need to experiment a bit!

Oh and shafts are PX flighted 6.0

Great set of irons, I love the look of mine as well. Love seeing the deuce, I'd love to have that in lefty. Real Nice bag

Got to love the challenge of hitting them well!

One of the nicest looking irons out right now. When I was in the market, I almost got myself a set of these. I was coming from TM Rac Mb TP's, and wasn't swinging as good as I was last year, so I went with the 712's AP2's. I used to play Callaway X Forged and had nothing but GREAT times with them!

<--------I went from the 07' X-forged's to the Razr Mb's. I had a little killed/squared grind done to the leading edge of the x-forged as I found them pretty hard to hit for a cavity back. The move to Mb's has been seamless. These are great sticks!

I haven't played for the past couple of weeks but they have closed the course a few times. Before the rain last week it was holding up ok though.

The MBs are sweet but my swing is nowhere near where it should be at the moment! However they are too nice to swap out so they are keepers!

Might be some more updates once the new mac daddy wedges come out!

[/quote]I hear ya re the swing. Got the MP69s on the way & have played twice in the past 4 weeks. Mizzys will arrive end of this week sometime, right when I head away to the Sth Island for work for 2 weeks so it's gonna be hell waiting to hit them (as well as to see just how well I hit them - but they were the pick of the bunch for me). I was keen on the Razr MBs but just couldn't seem to find a set anywhere (except for a few used sets on Ebay). I've got the old Jaws wedges with the MD grooves. Great spin but costing me a lot in shredded Pro V's.

Thanks, really like the Callaway stuff!

When I first got exposed to golf it was when the Big Berthas came out and Callaway was the brand to have, so now I'm into golf proper I decided to go with Callaway and no regrets with that choice!

Now with the new Big Berthas coming out I think I'm obliged to buy one to say "I've owned a BB driver!"

I'll probably post an updated WITB once they come out in NZ

So, new year, new gear as a semi-club ho!

Got the new Bertha Alpha and Bertha 5 Wood this week. Put in play today and loved the driver. Didn't hit my FWs good today so will just forget about that!

How much more forgiving are those Apex compared to the MB's?

The MBs I got from the golfers shop in Christchurch about 18 months ago. Not sure if you could still get them but if your club has a Callaway account they might be able to get them still.

The Apex are much more forgiving than the MBs (read straighter). About a club longer too (but I expect that given the lofts - 47* vs 45* PW). The shafts are softer which probably gives me a bit more distance - the PX are a bit too stout for me and I need to get it in my head to take smoother swings on the course now!
