Seemore putter Help

Looking at picking up a seemore putter but browsing through the website made me realize I have way more options than I knew existed.

What's the difference between the PTM and the Nashville series? Is the Nashville series worth the extra cash? Also I know these putters have been played on tour for a while. Why does it seem the pros opt for the original FGP?

A heavy head weight is important to me if that makes any difference.

The PTM and Original Series models are just the no-frills, classic SeeMore stuff. You can’t go wrong with either line. They look great and feel great, and SeeMore can adjust head weight to fit your spec. The Nashville series is like any premium putter line. More expensive materials, perhaps some updated tech, new experimental shapes, definite “cool” factor — but I doubt you’d see a difference in performance.

Original FGP is just a great putter. If you like full toe hang, a straight and square look, and a relatively small head shape, it’s for you.

I’ve just taken the plunge into SeeMore putters and will offer my insight, as I just completed the same journey that you’re on.

The FGP is an awesome design. Clean look and a very solid feel. The putter feels like “nothing” on center strikes but offers a solid feeling feedback when you’re off. Just a great feel.

I went with the PTM series based on the following, as I understand from my research:

The Nashville is 100% CNC milled from solid 303 Stainless billet. Weight is 350 grams.

The PTM has a milled sole, top and face. The head is cast from 303 Stainless. Weight is 340 grams.

The Original only has a milled face and is cast from 303 Stainless. Weight is 330 grams.

So far, I have only putted indoors but the alignment system is the real deal. For me, it forces me to setup the same every time. Now I can focus on stroke and speed. I love it!

Guys - appreciate the follow up and insight. Very good. Tommy - more than happy to help. We have found that people like different taste in all aspects of their putters. We have 3 lines that are Good, Better and Best. FGP Original - good to Nashville Series - Best. There is also "feel" and "sound" difference all. However, all of the putters have our patented and proven technology - RST - RifleScope Technology. We are happy to walk you through your questions. When you have 5-10 minutes give us a call on the phone 615-435-8015 - happy to assist in anyway. This is what we do. Thanks for your thread. Looking forward to having you on Team SeeMore.

Long SeeMore supporter and user. I find their putters incredible, their customer service is better than anything I’ve experienced in the golf industry and RST freaking works.

As far as the Nashville vs. FGP and PTM.. while putters are extremely personal, I think it’s worth the extra cash to make the plunge into the Nashville series. They are that good. They feel great, look great and help you take squaring the putter face element out of your set up completely. Hide the red dot and your putter face is square.

I currently game a M1 Private Reserve with copper insert. I absolutely adore it. It’s the one club that will never leave my bag. I’ve been through soooo many SeeMore’s and this is the perfect putter for me. However, I could game several models and be completely happy.

Good luck in your search!

I went from original FGP to the MFGP Nashville Studio series, and I have noticed a big difference, in a positive way, in terms of weight, feel, and feedback. They are all great putters. Just point and shoot technology.

Seemore fan here as well. I have the original brass FGP that got me on the Seemore bandwagon, and have recently been putting with a X4 Carona Del Mar. I have never been a fan of the anser style putters, but I am hooked on Seemore's right now! I have been all over the place on putters over the past 5 years (short, long, face on, broom stick etc) but the RST along with Pat O'brien's grip and stroke techniques have brought back consistency in my putting stroke. I love the putter I am using, but next time I get to Dallas I plan on going in for a fitting as I would like to see if I can make even more of an improvement.
