TrackMan Rentals - Would you rent time on a TrackMan

Golf Friends,

I've opened a new business, with the intention of helping golfers as much as possible. Back in early 2017, I hit on a TrackMan monitor and it changed the way I understood my swing. It painted a very clear picture of what I was doing well and not so well.

Months later, I looked for access to a TrackMan and couldn't find one. Local instructors that owned them wouldn't let me "buy time" on a monitor. So what did I do? I created TrackManRentals.com, the first TrackMan Rental service to date. It's a simple concept: You show up, check in and hit away - all the while you have a TrackMan to give you as much feedback as you desire. IT IS NOT A LESSON. I've found that a lot of golfers prefer being their own coaches. This is an experience catered to those individuals. We always have a staff member on site, mostly to make sure no one walks away with a monitor, but also to answer any questions and to explain what the 27 metrics mean.

I launched this business in early 2018 and I've got some great feedback. My client base is loyal and we currently have an over 80% return rate. If this is something you'd be interested in or have any questions about - please let me know! I'm always looking for feedback, especially from golfers. You're my target market and I truly think I can help you all improve.

FYI - We also do off-site events, such as long drive contests, birthday party set ups and much more!

Trackman is great for data, but unless you know how to contextualize that information and selectively target what is wrong in your swing, it remains just that...data.

Completely agree. As we have served an array of handicaps, from +2 to 20, we've added several PGA Class-A instructors to our staff. All of our employees are also TrackMan Certified. We consider ourselves the MRI for your swing, to get the reading it's best to see a pro. We also offer some great TrackMan Clinics with teaching pros on site.

Mariners. Awesome!

Good luck with the business; hope it goes well.

Have you practiced/played there? It's where I first learned to play, so it was a very warm homecoming when they agreed to be partners!

True, but if you want to test drivers or other clubs, what would you rather do? Hit indoors at the crummy monitors at a PGA Superstore or be outside and have the dead on accurate Trackman?

Especially when you factor in grass. Mats are forgiving and don't allow for realistic contact. Getting your numbers while hitting off grass is crucial - especially with wedges.

When I'm in town, you can usually find me working on short game at Mariners early weekend mornings. Chris A is a good guy, he downplays his love of golf sometimes, but he's really into it and can play.

Someday I would like to do a ball fitting with Trackman. "Expensive" since I have to donate the balls to the range!

No worries! We can bring our popup net that we use for ball fittings and you can rip into the net!
