Just wondering if anyone has experience with Ron Anderson or Rey Eriskon?

I've heard goods and bads about them.

I have had some small work done by Ron. I like him. I've also heard glowing references for Rey. In some ways I would be in the same boat you are in. There is some more serious work we are looking at, so who to go to?

btw- how about Calgarian Ryan Yip, #1 at Dayton First Stage Qualifying? Gotta' be pulling for him for Stage 2.

What are you in need of or looking for? Quality of products? Fitting knowledge of products for your swing? Tweaking a club or two or building new irons? Quality of craftsmanship?

You could also add Lyle at Simply Golf to that list (depending on what it is you are looking for).

What exactly did Ron work on your clubs? What did you like him about?

I want to get a set of Miura but would like to make sure that Ron will make clubs to specs.

I know this is an old post but Rey Erickson is a crook! He charges to much maybe double what other people charge!

Ron Anderson is an excellent clubfitter with many years of knowledge. He would be able to do anything from tweaking a club to making up a full set for you. His attention to detail is first rate.

Go see Brett if he is still there but if you want a biased Ping fitting go to Ted & Daves.

I'm not a Ping guy, so Ted and Dave's are out of the question for me.

Country Hills is of interest because I believe you get to hit out over the range.

Brett Burgeson is the Head Pro and a great fitter for Titleist. He will also bring in additional shafts if you have one in mind that they don't normally carry. It's all done with PV or PV1X and on a trackman outdoors, unless you plan on going right now, in which case it's indoors in a bay.

Lyle at Simply Golf has always done a great job for me. Brett is a solid guy too, but I'd trust Lyle.

Does Lyle fit outdoors? I've heard mixed reviews on him, but not sure if that's the same guy who does his work out of the dome by Chinook

Lyle has moved to the NGA dome by Chinook. His shop off Blackfoot has been closed for over a year. I had a fitting from his shop which was indoors, and he didn't really do it, it was some kid that worked for him with Lyle peeking out from the back. They use knock off adapters, which broke easily, I went through two before they used a real one.

Thomas is the clubfitter stationed out of the Stone Creek Adventure Park driving range.  I've used him on a few occasions as Golftown was backed up for weeks.  Just google "golfbox Calgary" for the address and phone number.  Tell him Clayton sent you.  I believe even that @Kale_m guy has had work down there.  lol
