Great to meet with the team at FootJoy. We've all seen Rory's FootJoy Sport, which is great looking sporty shoe. To appeal to the tech crowd, check out the FootJoy XPS-1 and its insane outsole. You'd swear you can climb rocks with that type of traction.

If you want a shoe that can go from home to office to the links, the FootJoy Contour Casuals may be what you're looking for. These are also erfect for those 'stealth' trips to the range for a long lunch -- not that I've ever done that :rolleyes:

For apparel, Footjoy has created an updated, traditional look, but with performance fabrics. They are now offering multiple layering options -- base layer, mid layer and outerwear --with performance based qualities. Ive got a pair of the XPS-1s with BOA and they are really quite stable. Pretty comfy shoe. The street shoes come in some odd colours. Maybe aimed at people a tad older than myself, couldnt see them selling a heap though.

Loved that shoe, and none of their offerings has a high enough TOE BOX to accommodate anything but a very flat toe height. A problem I am repeatedly running into with shoe manufacturers. I've been looking for new shoes for 3 years now and can't find any that fit me worth a darn.

another ecco rip off. I mean I love FJ shoes but seriously this is 2+ years late and an exact rip off. Pretty weak design integrity in my opinion.

True, unless they are available in wide widths, which Ecco and others are not.

Hey all; I'm liking all the new FJ shoes for 2012. Looks like the new trend in shoes is spikeless sole sneaker style which to me brings up a few concerns:
1st will and can they stay as dry as a conventional golf shoe?
2nd Is the traction as good as they are with soft spike type shoes?
3rd With other type shoes you can change spikes if they wear out which in my opinion saves a lot of money over buying a whole new shoe.

that XPS is a good looking shoe and i'm interested in the wide base concept for stability; for some reason footjoy apparel -- outside of raingear -- has never hit the right notes for me; but footjoy shoes always seem to be the most comfortable with by far the best fit

These are a very "clunky" shoe in my opinion. Heavy, walk funny, look odd with the sole hanging out over the side. The relatively new FJ Sports are lovely shoes on the other hand.
