What do you all think?

I have been playing golf for 2 years. I am currently off 17, however this handicap is unrealistic, seeing as i missed 3months this summer as i had a broken finger. I have recently started playing again, and am shooting low 80's, well below my handicap. I would Describe my strengths as my iron play and short game. I am usually one or two over for the 6par threes on my home course, which also gets extremely windy.

I am looking to buy some new irons. I hit the ball very high, and when it is windy, i do not find my current irons (Mizuno Mx-15) very penetrating. I have bladed wedges (Vokeys) so i know i can hit more advanced clubs. I like both Versions of the LTs. I am hoping for advice and suggestions.

I have a set of 2004 Rac LT's with Rifle 6.0's and absolutely love them. Granted, they're not currently in my bag, but they occasionally make their way out to the course.

I personally feel that they're a forgiving club yet still workable at the same time. The LT, "low trajectory" is kind of misleading. They seemed to produce more of a mid/high trajectory IMO. Not necessarily a bad thing, but something to keep in mind.

Finally, you cannot go wrong with the price. You can easily find the 2004 model for under $300. A steal if you ask me.

There seems to be mixed reviews on the 2005 model. I have not tried them, but I'm sure a few other members can pipe in.

I love my 2004 LTs. The 2005 models are supposed to launch a bit higher than the '04 model, plus they're a little more offset. I personally like the looks of the '04 model over the '05's, but that's just me. They are not a low ball trajectory like you would think. I get very nice medium high launches with great carry. They pretty much drop and stop for me. Highly recommended.

The 04's are superior to the 05's, IMO. I really think the 04 LT's are definitely one of the best cast CB's ever...perhaps even the very best.

The 04' LT's are really special with Project X shafts! (I have 5.5 Flex PX in my set)

I have the 04 LT model that i got for a very good price. Even though I am not a great worker of the ball I really like these clubs. Mine are shafted with DG R300's which is just not the shaft for me. All in All they are a great set of clubs.
