Guys

Here's a document from OEM court proceedings, lists 131 websites all run by the same people. Of course, it's dated Feb so possibly 131 new ones have sprung up in the last 3 months!!

Last night I stumble upon xxx and dicovered quite a few prioces that were "too good to be true". Initially, I was intriqued because of the fact that some prices might have been considered comparable.

I used the live chat option and asked several questions and got the standard answers that I've seen on this forum before. They told me that the products all came with serial numbers but they couldn't be registered with the manufacturers in order to get any kind of warranty. The site offers a 7 day return policy and a 30 day warranty.

Overall, seems "too good to be true" for sure. Anybody use this place?

what about? is this a fake. I mean rbz for 250?

Just glanced at the page and two red flags struck me right off.

Aliexpress by alibaba.com and under customer testimonials "Aliexpress is a great way to buy products from China"

So yeah, fake

www.clubgolfsale.com has to be bogus. They're selling new Titlest AP2 irons for $298 (see link below). They do not have left handed either. On the page for the irons, people can ask questions. Someone asked why they were so cheap. The admin's response was "The setup of the Titleist AP2 Irons is 3-9P.As our products are offered by the oversea supplers,so that can save our cost,which makes the price much more competitive.Thanks"

On their FAQ page, someone asks if they're genuine or me-too from Asia. His response was "Yes they are real clubs from our oversea OEM supplier overseas"

Seems like he's trying to convince people they are manufactured by Titleist but originally sent to overseas suppliers, who must get them cheaper, and these overseas suppliers ship them to this place. Seems shady to me. Too bad, I'd love to grab some AP2 irons for less than $300.

Believe it or not, I tried it out and pulled the trigger. 100% fake. Sold them 2 weeks later to some local kid. I made sure he knew they were fake.

That site just looks sketchy all over... Basic HTML programming... I would not buy from there

The information on who owns / runs the site is blocked...

Does anyone have any knowledge or feedback about these sites?

i'm obviously shopping for a new Scotty Cameron Circa 62 model. (mine was stolen and I want to replace it)

I've never heard of these sites and they claim the product is brand new.

A little weary of that, but really want to find this putter new.

Any help would be appreciated! Thanks

Dude, one of those sites has Pink G20 drivers for 220 bucks. What do you think?

Registered on GolfWRX solely because of this forum... great info, and i have a question for all of you who are good at spotting fakes. I've been looking to upgrade to a set of Mizuno MP-59s, and found this website: xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
The site itself is pretty legit-looking, but a few red flags I noticed were, 1) no actual contact number or location of business on the Contact Us page (it says "US" on the site, but that's dubious), 2) shoddy English when the site ventures outside of the cut-and-paste of the manufacturer's descriptions, and 3) Mizuno MP-59 set (3-PW) for $379? Hmmm.

So I contacted them the only way available: via an email address on the Contact Us page, and asked some questions, and this is the response i just received back:
Dear Sir,

Thank you for your interest in our clubs. 1, Our clubs are new, not used. They are directly from the OEM factory. 2, We can customize length of the shaft. Grips are standard ones. 3, Please allow us 1-2 days to prepare the shipment and then it will take 5-7 days for the package to arrived.

Best regards

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Pretty vague, less-than-perfect English, etc. combine to make me very wary of the site. Does anyone know anything--good or bad--about www.xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx?
Thanks much,
GolfJax
If something is to good to be true, it is most likely not true!!! It's really that simple unless you know the seller or site sells authentic product and can research it and authenticate the information through the companies they are selling merchandise for! Now some people do have huge account with companies or buy Dead stock from bankrupt business and can sell the product for sometimes even more then half the price brand new, but the product will not be consistent and will run out and always be changing if thats their game! Otherwise most should know better if you do no factor in these rules!
