I think I found my new ball

I got to play 9 holes today with the nike vapor black golf ball. A little bit about this ball, It has a advanced, multi-layer technology activates a new level of distance performance, propelled by increased velocity and optimized aerodynamics. I used to play the nike vapor speed and loved it, I can only find the vapors speeds at golf smith, dicks and GC. So for the last 2 months I have been trying out all the mid level multi-layer balls. From callaway hx diablo tour, srixon trispeed tour, and top flite gamer v2. Out of all the balls the nike was the longest for me. I gained 2-5 yards per club. the nike had good spin. Not much side spin and had good spin on wedge shots. it was almost like the original nike vapor. the nike would roll out 5 feet with a half wedge shot. On a full wedge shot I could get it to stop within 2 feet of the ball mark. The cover of the nike is one of the best parts of the ball. I use nike vr forged wedges and I did not peel any cover off on wedge shots. With the callaway, srixon and top flite, i could sred the cover with one wedge shot. Putting was a nice soft feeling and it held its line. now were the nike stood out from the rest was how forgiving it was on toe shots. when i hit a toe shot i lost about 5-8 yards. with the other balls i would lose over a club in length. If you are looking for a good multi layer ball and dont want to spend a ton on money, give the nike vapor black a try. Now its head to head, nike vapor black vs taylormade RocketBallz.

Thanks for the review. I had been wondering about the spin on these. I won some in a golf outing, and I have not yet put them in play yet (too many other golf balls to play through). They definitely feel nice putting them around the house.
