My current set up. I know I have no driver, haven't had one for 2 weeks. Used to have a Nike dymo 2. 9.5.

 

Trying to get a 910D3 soon.

 

Woods/Wedges have Golf pride NDMC black/orange.

Irons have Winn 5715W: Standard Black

 

910FD 15* 3 wood. Set to C3 setting

910H 24 * Hybrid. Set to A3 setting

R11s 19* 5 wood. Closed face setting. STD loft

Nike VR Pro Combo 3 to PW. Standard lie (might flatten it to -1 degree soon)., +.5 length.

R9 55* sand wedge.

Titleist vokey 58* wedge.

Nike Method Core 3i putter

Ended up getting a 910d3. Awesome deal for it. Too bad it came with a seniors flex shaft. Thats why i am on the hunt for a stiff shaft.

Yes, can't believe i got one and for free. The tour bag doesn't even fit in my trunk, I have to take out most items in there just for the bag to fit. Haha.

Damn, I wish I got a staff bag for free. I thought I got a good deal when I got an R11 Rescue for $99. Nice bag though. How you like hitting Nikes? My dad had the combos back in the day and I found them to feel a bit "clunky"

I wouldn't say "clunky". Maybe back in the day, but not now. I feel they are a good set of clubs with all sorts of feel. Love that they are forged and a mix set. Sucks that it is not as forgiving as I would like them to be.

I guess i have to work more on the ball striking. The 710 ap2 and these vr pro combos are my favorite irons.

The ho'ing continues. Got this driver with AD J shaft for less than $140 w/ tax. (there was a sale on demo clubs)

I guess the demo driver came with this shaft. The up-charge alone for the shaft would be $200+. Consider this a steal.

Also with new vr-s headcover and wrench.

They are beyond awesome, i got them -1* flat. I love the combo feel. Blades in the pw-8 (the irons where i am decent at), split cavity in 7-5. which gives it more forgiving feel on mishits. The 3-4 irons (which i replaced with hybrids) were decent to hit when i did hit them. I have a pocket cavity on them.

I say give them a try, you wont regret it. Forged + blades in the short irons are the best!

Thanks, yeah all the other got the boot, long gone. But the irons are truly great!

When I do get another have it'll have to be a mixed bag of cavity/blades.

Though, i do like the feel of ap2's as well
