In the past, most homes had a coffee table. Many homes had a community porcelain ashtray on that same coffee table. Here's what many of those ashtrays looked like...

 

This is what we all thought Ping used as the inspiration by the time the 'Zing' & 'ISI' came out. Fine clubs...just, brazen looks and design.

Funny it says my set of K 3's was btw '67 and '76. But when I called Ping they said my mfg date was 1980 according to my serial numbers.

Me trying to convince myself I don’t need a backup set of G25s just because they are so fricken good.  
 

IMO the best in the G series and nothing before or after comes close.

Well the nickels are now $ now.  But the good thing about you having steel ISIs is that you hardly have to check the loft and lies on them every season whereas you might have to on the nickel since it is a much softer metal.

Am thinking of doing a 'throwback' round with my buddies. We each play a pre-2000 set and use new golf balls.

 

I think it would be fun...
